Calli!

1 2 Weeks | Boxer x Bulldog Mix | Brown, Black and White Coat | ALMOST House trained | Perfect Second Dog | High Energy | Great with Children| Working on Leash Manners | Not Thoroughly Cat Tested

This little cutie will melt your heart. Calli is crated when we leave the house and is usually still upside down and asleep when we get home or is happy wiggly bum excited to see you. There really is no cuter greeting than a wiggly puppy bum is there?

She is a really calm puppy with a few bursts of energy through the day but still naps several times a day too. She is very easy going and seems to fit in so well. Her favourite activities include playing with her fur siblings (tug of war) and lounging in the sun, but her all time fav activity is snuggling her humans.Calli is crated when we leave the house. We try to tire her out before we put her in the crate or give her something to stimulate her while she is in there, like a kong with kibble and peanut butter. We are still crate training so only leave her in there for a few hours at a time until she becomes more comfortable with it, but she generally does not mind it and only whines for a minute or 2 and then settles. When she is out of her crate, she still has some puppy tendencies of chewing rugs and nibbling on things so we always keep several toys around the house for her to chew instead.

She sleeps on her big dog with her stuffed animal elephant or she sleeps in her crate. We only get up with her once through the night to take her to the bathroom.   Calli is still learning how to walk on a leash. She is quite lazy so having treats or other dogs on walks will definitely help her keep up!

She enjoys the car and loves to be held with a blanket or lay on a blanket or bed in the car. She has never gotten car sick and likes to look out the window. She is a snuggly bug. She loves kids and other dogs and I think would thrive in a home with children and/or other dogs. She does not have great recall skills yet so a fenced in yard would be ideal. All we know is that wherever this girl goes, she will make one family very happy! She is very food motivated so training with treats/kibble is ideal. She gobbles her food so a slow feed bowl is recommended or a toy that makes her work for her food (ball with holes that you fill with kibble). She currently eats 3/4cup 3x/day and always looks forward to it. Basic puppy training is all this girl will need!  This pup is ready to meet her forever family and can’t wait to wiggle her way into your heart!
